A beautiful upper principal meg from Bone
Valley, FL.. This tooth obviously has the traditional problem that most
teeth have from this location of tip damage/rounding, but the color and other
characteristics made me get this tooth anyway. The tanish white
root is excellent and has 3 well defined nutrient holes. The cream colored
bourlette is 97% complete and very smooth. The enamel is glossy with an unusual
mottling of brown, tan, cream, and black colors on this tooth. The
serrations are in excellent condition, excluding the ones around the tip. |

A great juvenile upper lateral meg from Venice,
FL. The tan root is well preserved with what appears to be bite damage
on the right side when looking at the lingual view. This tooth has a
99% complete cream bourlette with little black dots, and the bourlette is 99% on
the flat side as well. The enamel is extremely glossy with a unique
mottled coloring of gray, black and tan. The serrations on this
tooth are enormous for its size. The tip on this tooth is huge
and very well defined. |

FL. This tooth is also part of the "Best of the Best"
collection, and comes from the private collection of Dr. Gordon Hubble.
The snow white root is extremely well preserved. The cream colored
bourlette is as close to 100% as it can get. The cream colored flat
side bourlette is well preserved as well at about 80%. The enamel is
an extremely glossy and beautiful blue-black color with almost no hydration
cracking. The serrations are in great shape, with only some slight
damage near the tip. There are also some pathological wrinkles just
below the root on the right side when looking at the lingual side.
When you add it all up it is just an awesome specimen. |

Ultra rare, and huge, lower lateral meg
from Bone Valley, FL. This tooth was personally found by Dr.
Hubble, and comes from his private collection. Obviously this is
on the "Best of the Best" page. The off white root, (indicative
of teeth found at Bone Valley), is in awesome condition. There are 3
very well defined nutrient holes, and the protective nubs on each side
are in pristine condition. There is very little cracking on the
display side. The speckled white and yellow bourlette is fantastically
preserved at 95%, extending seamlessly to the very edges. The
bourlette wraps around the tooth continuously into the flat side bourlette
which is 80% complete. The crown enamel is an unbelievable, glossy,
mixture of tan, peach, and gray-blue, with snow white striations running all
through it. There is virtually no peel on the entire tooth (both
lingual and labial sides). The serrations are in almost perfect
condition, with only a few slightly nicked up near the root.
They are large and extremely sharp, and exhibit the cool attribute of being
a different color from the crown. There is a vivid light blue ring
that runs along the entire edge of the crown, with the very tips of the
serrations being a tan color. Just having the tip present on
a Bone Valley tooth is rare, but to have a preserved tip on a 4+ inch lower
Bone Valley tooth is about as rare as they come. In my opinion this is
the best and rarest Bone Valley Tooth I have ever seen. |

An unbelievable 4" upper lateral meg from Bone
Valley, FL. This tooth is quite possibly the best white/blue Bone
Valley meg ever found. The snow white root is in pristine condition,
with 3 well defined nutrient holes, and virtually no cracking. The
off white bourlette is amazingly well preserved at 99%, extending to the very edges
of the tooth. This amazing bourlette wraps around the tooth to
where the flat side bourlette is 90+% intact. The crown enamel is a
beautiful, glossy, highly sought after, navy steel blue. There is
almost no hydration cracking on the entire tooth, with the flat side having
none visible. There is also virtually no enamel peel on the tooth
either. The serrations are in phenomenal condition with only two
(maybe two and a half) nicked, even the tiny ones near the root are intact.
The tip is present and very well preserved. As every one knows,
this rare for Bone Valley meg, especially for a 4" Bone Valley. What
else is there to say, world class tooth, and you can also visit it on the
"Best of the Best" page. |
